Bored in Leixlip? Heres something to do.

Alright, this project has spent too long on the back burner. "For too long", Intel Corp has insisted on manufacturing its own chips, instead of simply purchasing them from Cyrix Corp, who make a far superior product. These strong arm tactics were brought some years ago to Leixlip. As Cyrix is now on the verge of extinction, the time is right to make a stand.

A nameless ( but tall ) friend of mine and myself need extra volunteers to go and protest with us outside intel, preferably when fab 24 opens. We plan to bring a large mockup of a cyrix cpu with us to show intel what they are missing.

Modders and other Posers

These people baffle me. Being a bit of a petrol head, I cry every time I see a perfectly good car destroyed. Theres also the not-so-good cars which I'd normally ignore, but the neon stripes, and "racing" fuel filler grab my attention and make me scream. Its all about creating the impression of performance. Bigger wheels, louder exhaust, it doesn't matter if your turning circle is crippled, because you are shitcool! And those wider tyres really come in handy for taking the tricky 20mph corners as you lap the housing estate.
Equally bad, in their own way, is anyone who unnecessarily buys a 4x4. Thankfully we don't quite have SUV's in Ireland yet, but its certainly going that way. Few people are able to come up with any real justification for having an off-road vehicle. People who own them simply like having a big car. So much so, that they are willing to accept the terrible handling, slower performance, higher cost, higher fuel cost, higher pollution.
To combat some of these problems, manufacturers have started reducing the height, and in some cases removed the 4 wheel drive. So what we end up with is an abomination, that doesn't go off road any better than a car ( remember it will normally come with road tyres ). It doesn't do anything better than a car, except look big. Everyone should have to justify their purchase of one of these things, and if they can't they have to pay a massive fine, or get rid of it.
Future entries will be less serious, I smell bolognese.

The air smells fresh today.

Welcome to my blog. I will amuse you with excerpts from my stories and poetry, and amaze you with my photography. Here is an example, to get the ball rolling. I took this with a Fuji XD900TR7 MkII ( A disposable camera ), with a standard lense. I will now go back to my new career as a budding web designer.

An excerpt from my new novel/play:

Ah I was wandering down the hill, across the field, when what did I bump into but an old rusty gate. Through the gate I went, down and across the other field. The stream burbled malevolently. I ruffled my hair anxiously yet absently. It was time to kick some ass.
